Ballyquin Ogham stone Ballyquin Ogham Stone stands at almost 2.5 metres high, although the stone is quite weathered the ogham is still very legible. I had not previously seen a picture of this particular stone so when I paid a visit I was delighted to see such a huge ogham stone. The inscription reads ' CATABAR MOCO VIRICORB'. Macalister, R.A.S. Not far from this site is Ballyquin megalithic tomb, a small portal tomb and standing stone. This site is also close to Drumlohan Ogham stones. |
