Rathgeran Standing stone east There are three standing stones and also three examples of rock art in the Rathgeran area. I have called this one Rathgeran East for obvious reasons. The rectangular granite block stands 1.55 metres high by 0.82 metres wide. It is aligned WNW-ESE. I could not locate the landower and with the field full of sheep, I decided to take a few shots from the road. One of the other standing stones, Rathgeran west, is located 1.5 kilometres west of here, on the opposite side of the road.
